born and raised in Puglia - in the charming town of Putignano (Ba), now she has been living in Berlin for several years. She got her first piano lesson at age 6. She graduated at the music Conservatory in Monopoli. She also founded her first local blues band at the age of 20. At the same time she starts taking jazz piano lessons from pianist and vocalist Mario Rosini .From that moment on her music will be strongly influenced by Brazilian music and bossanova as well as the one of the great Italian composers such as Ennio Morricone, Piero Piccioni, and Luigi Tenco among the songwriters. In 2001 she moves to Berlin Germany where she will start new collaborations with internationally known musicians as Bruno Castellucci, Johan Leijonhufvud, Christian von der Goltz. 2007 is the year of her first release the album “Miriam Netti” ,the album “La Bossa “ appears 10 years later with good reviews on German state radio and tv ; 2021 she will appear on the danish production the Album “the Art of Jazz” as a featured vocalist together with Anders Mogensen and Ben Besiakov . February 4th 2022 the Album la Bossa Vol.II will be fully released.
