Dutch master of melody Eelke Kleijn was tasked with showcasing the deeper side of Toolroom, and the results are nothing short of breathtaking. It's obvious to see why Eelke is often referred to as a modern day composer. His two exclusive tracks 'The Voices' and 'Oranje Liefde' fit like bespoke gloves in the musical odyssey of his mix. Eelke's carefully crafted approach to composition and production really put him in a league of his own.  ‘Satisfied’ is a slice of sophisticated dance music that nails the sweet spot between headphones and dancefloor. It sees Catching Flies focusing his attention on the dancefloor for the first time with stunning results – ‘Satisfied’ is highly textured, deeply melodic and effortlessly marries live instrumentation (guitars, harps, a string quartet…) with warm electronics. The single consists of a three-track package, including a more immediate Edit and an ‘Ambient Reprise’ which serves as a hazy recollection of the night before. As Catching Flies explains: ‘the tune has so many different layers and tracks (186 to be precise!) and went through various different versions over time… so I wanted to celebrate that.’

Originally featured on Yotto’s debut album ‘Hyperfall’, ‘Turn It Around’ now gets its own single release featuring an extended mix and two outstanding remixes courtesy of German artists Monkey Safari and Ruede Hagelstein.

Monkey Safari add their trademark sunshine sheen to ‘Turn It Around’, flipping the dark soundscape of the original into an uplifting composition of sliding synths and bubbly arpeggios. Berlin producer Ruede Hagelstein builds on Yotto’s original brooding arrangement with his ‘Rise Again’ remix, incorporating mechanised vocoders atop a menacing bassline.

A fan favourite from Anjunadeep 11, 'Overtones' became renowned for its killer breaks and addictive synth riff. Heavily influenced by the sound of classic UK house music, the track also features an inspirational anonymous sample. 

Originally from Sydney, Frost has released on Mau5trap, alongside official remixes for the likes of ZHU and Sofi Tukker. His crisp production illustrates why he has garnered support from industry heavyweights such as Pete Tong.

The newest member of Fckng Serious, the young musician and producer Moritz Hofbauer, starts immediately with a release. "Black Ice" is the name of his first EP on the label and will be the first part of a quadrilogy to be released during 2021. With four brand new tracks and a piano version of the title track, Moritz this time musically processes his impressions of the winter season. The piano cover is also intended to give the title track a special significance and leave room for new interpretations for the listener.
The main single, "Black Ice", was originally created as an intro for Moritz's new live sets and was intended as an introduction to his new chapter. The spirit of optimism is clearly audible in this special track and embodies euphoria for something new and still unknown. It can't be a coincidence that this track will be his debut on Fckng Serious!The track "Thundersnow" contains a lot of spherical sounds that inevitably draw you in immediately.The other tracks present themselves in a dirtier sound picture. This is due to the fact that their basis: bassline & drums come entirely from his drum machine and thus have their own sound colouration, which reflects Moritz's very personal style. 
We are very happy about his fast and very successful debut on Fckng Serious and are already looking forward to the next part of his unique Quadrilogy, in spring.Stay Tuned!
