"I Röven" är en djärvt provocerande parodi på traditionell tyroler/alp-musik som kombinerar autentiska folkmusik-element med extremt explicit innehåll för att skapa en chockerande men underhållande musikalisk upplevelse. Produktionen är musikaliskt autentisk med upbeat tyrolean accordion, tuba och stomping beats som skapar en äkta oktoberfest-atmosfär, medan publikens jubel och ölkrus-klirr förstärker den festliga känslan. Den starka sångprestationen levererar de provocerande texterna med perfekt uttal och en överraskande självsäker attityd som kontrasterar kraftfullt mot den traditionella alpmusikens oskuldsfulla image. Textmässigt använder låten medvetet kontrasten mellan den idylliska alpbymiljön med dirndl, lederhosen och bergslandskap mot extremt explicita sexuella önskemål för att skapa chock och humor genom kulturell kollision. Låten spelar på stereotyper om oskyldig tysk/österrikisk folkmusik och vänder dem helt upp och ner genom att låta huvudpersonen uttrycka sina sexuella preferenser med samma entusiasm som traditionella alpjodlare sjunger om berg och blommor. De instrumentala delarna, särskilt det vilda dragspelsolot och beer stein-percussionen, behåller den musikaliska autenticiteten samtidigt som de förstärker låtens karnevalsliknande karaktär. "I Röven" är en extremt kontroversiell men musikaliskt skicklig parodi som utmanar alla konventioner genom att kombinera traditionell europäisk folkmusik med det mest explicita innehåll möjligt - en låt som garanterat kommer att chockera, provocera och underhålla i lika mått, samtidigt som den fungerar som en satirisk kommentar på hur kulturella stereotyper kan exploateras för komisk effekt.

Food for the soul, nourishment for the body and an escape for the mind, KUU’s music transports you to a place of optimism, hope and joy. Formed two years ago, after a lost weekend at legendary Ibiza nightspot Pikes, channeling the infamous 80s Balearic Beat scene, KUU distills the essence of this era into their music. Like the best ideas, it took on a life of its own before they’d even had a chance to make any firm plans.

From the moment they started working together, KUU members ,  and  have found the music has almost written itself. Working without the pressures of a grand plan, they’ve relished the freedom of going wherever the project takes them. A Zimbabwean-American singer, songwriter and record producer, Shungudzo’s soaring vocals have helped propel the project to new heights, with her diverse heritage and carefree outlook helping liberate the crew. This is a project where feeling, intuition, vibe and energy are the driving force, leading to a series of original cuts and edits that are full of authenticity. So far they’ve recorded six singles, with a series of inspired edits to accompany the songs, joining the dots between the roots of rave culture and the broad appeal of pop music.
