The first piece I've written and performed in a decade.  I do both guitars, bass guitar, and vocals.  I used AD2 for the drum samples, but I programmed the MIDI.  I did the entire mix and (finally!) the mastering.  

I'm still a noob to mastering.  Been studying it relentlessly for the past year, only began to put what I've learned into practice over the past few months upon switching to Studio One.

This track isn't anything super amazing, but I worked really hard on it.   If you have any tips or critique on what I can do to improve or learn from this, please don't hesitate, it won't hurt my feelings in the slightest.

I can't put into words how deeply and sincerely I appreciate your time.

"Long Live The MeeceKang" -- Endless Meece

Vocals and Drums, nothing more.  Did the track in 2010, but now that I've spent the past year researching how to master my tracks, AND just put out my first release in over a decade...  I figured I'd see if there were any of my old tracks that had the raw files available so I could try my hand and mastering those, especially considering the songs I did a decade ago (some of which were decent, or at bare minimum, HYSTERICAL) never even received proper mixes.  

I had no idea how to do any of it.

I just knew how to record and play guitar and just wanted to get ALL THIS MUSIC OUT OF MY HEAD.

It's not bad.  Could be better.  You'll like it.

Abbreviated edit of my recent release, "LLTMK".  

Same final master, but sans the long( [long-ish], but very special to me, introduction featuring a very special moment between myself and my daughter), it cuts right to the chase and begins with the swell into some very heavy. crispy-crunch, Razor Sharp Drop B Tremolo Picking.

I confess, I can allow myself to get a little to excited about atmosphere and theatrics and forget that the average individual just wants to enjoy the sensations that accompany listening to some solid tunes.

Now the option is rightly available for those who feel so inclined.

This is my all-original cover of a song by a very good friend and one of my all-time favorite artists, Big Bad Baragon.

This was my first time attempting to produce a hip-hop/rap track from scratch, so it was A LOT of work, a lot of learning on-the-job per se, but...  after 3 months, I got it there.  Atleast as good as I'll be able to get it until I get much, much closer to being a skinny, white version of Leslie Braithwaite.

Until then, I give you, MAKE THEM SAY "MEECE???".........

[FINAL] "Make 'Em Say 'Meece?'" -- My Cover of "Make 'Em Say, Oh!" by Big Bad Baragon

May first ever hip-hop production.  I did the entire thing from scratch.  Researched beat-making, practiced it 'til my eyes bled, did all the instrumentals, vocals, recording, mixing, and mastering.

I worked on this day in, day out for 3 months.  A labor of love, tribute to one of my favorite artists and biggest inspirations, Big Bad Baragon.

I released this on May 6, 2022, but it had nearly 40 seconds of introduction full of inside jokes for Baragon and fellow B-Gon fans.  I cut all that out and just got right to the song here, as listening to the intro got a bit repetitive even for me.

Let me know what you think if you haven't already heard this.  Keep it 💯.

It will never hurt my feelings.  I just want to improv, and objective feedback is one of the best ways to do that.
