This mix has been something I've been working on for over a year. 

After an out of the blue mental breakdown last May, I was left with a serious anxiety condition. It has been by far the hardest thing I have ever had to deal with and my anxiety has taken away a lot of things I love dearly, most relevant to this was the loss of my creativity and the ability to play music in public. 

I turned to this mix as a way to help me through my emotional and mental rebuild and after many months of effort it unfortunately became a block and almost impossible to finish... a symptom of my overall health and ability to create or accomplish. 

The last month I have been doing everything and anything I could to try and help myself get through this tough stretch of life. While so focused on my wellbeing I also decided to set myself to creative goals, to finally finish this mix and also a Wildwood Podcast next month. 

I am so happy to say that I finally finished this one! It was not easy and I don’t even know if it’s good as I’ve spent so much time struggling over it. This mix was always a tool to try and help me deal with some of the things that I needed to.  I am happy that it is done now and it sounds the way it always needed to.

I appreciate you listening, stay tuned for the Wildwood podcast next week and hopefully much more creativity from me in the future.

Since 2003 – the participant of The Python Project (Progressive House, Tech House ,Techno) At the same time he started his Dj career (Vinyl/CD). He used to play in many Russian and Ukraine clubs
2004 – the first album DeepPressure by The Python Project. And Live sets (Ableton Live).
2004-2006 – the co-organizer of Promo group SabotaDJ. The organization of Massive Music Festivals in the south of Russia (3000 persons).
2006 – the first Python Project’ release at The Xeton Label. And then he had a plenty of releases at Ascension, Balkan Connection, Behold, Bellarine, Composure, Jetlag, Monad, Presslab, Proton, Real Music, Segment, System and Toes In The Sand labels.
2007 – the Expectation (Python project track) was supported by DJ Sasha at The Ministry Of Sound Party in London.
2009 he started his solo career as Samotarev with The Space Travel Track released at The Lowbit LabelIn 2009 Samotarev established his own label – The Green Snake Label. The main direction of his Label is quality progressive sound. 2014 – Denis A played Samotarev remix in John Digweed’s radioshow “Transitions 500”:
In 2016 Samotarev moved in Thailand (Koh Phangan) and became the resident
at 4U Bar. He took part in Scandal Festival (Koh Phangan).

Being an experienced DJ, the girl skillfully cooks styles in a selection with her music: a straight barrel counts with a broken one, rigid dynamics mixes with favorite, weightless and melancholic genres.
