To say we're delighted to have finally secured the services of our next act, would be something of an understatement. In the 5 years since they joined forces, and countless top ten releases, remixes, a new label, multiple radio shows and DJ sets together, its fair to say they sit astride the global progressive music scene today, and the foreseeable future. We know the 3 years it's taken for us to get them here is very much worth it! Ladies and Gents... GMJ/Matter!

Melbourne’s https://soundcloud.com/gmj-fulcrum (Gavin Martin) and https://soundcloud.com/matter (Matty Doyle) joined forces in late 2015, a triggered recognition and magnetism for their shared perspectives and love for deep atmospheric music leading to the formation of the GMJ & Matter collaboration.

Studio success has translated into demand from a constantly growing number of respected festivals and clubs both locally and abroad, highlighted by a European Tour in 2019 with gigs for Progressive Astronaut in London and Replug Records 10 year anniversary at ADE in Amsterdam.
Joining forces in 2020 with https://soundcloud.com/morningafteragency saw an acceleration and springboard of growth towards headlining gigs both locally and on a global scale.
The same year set the stage for the conception and constant growth of the pair's https://soundcloud.com/meanwhilerec imprint, which opened to high regard throughout the industry, both as a platform for their own signature sounds, and as a home to some of the world’s finest. With support from heavyweights including https://soundcloud.com/guy-j, https://soundcloud.com/djnickwarren & https://soundcloud.com/hernancattaneo, among others, and with many amazing artists and releases on the horizon, Meanwhile has established itself firmly as a top 10 global label in progressive house.

 And despite being locked down for the best part of this year 2021 has seen the next step in the growth of meanwhile with the conception of their new label 'Meanwhile Horizons'

Ricky Ryan has been releasing some amazing mixes in recent times that have really caught our ear, and with a career as a producer and DJ for over 2 decades, his flawless programming and building are a perfect fit for the meanwhile moments journey! 🎆

BIO:
Sometimes we come across DJs combining talent with a livewire
personality, and Ricky Ryan is among these.

His sound is distinguished by a broad variety of musical styles, from
beautiful warm House and deep Techno to driving dance floor
anthems, always guiding the listener through a spiritual soundscape
by his silky smooth mixing and impeccable programming.

Ricky toured worldwide, including gigs at the Winter Music
Conference in Miami, The BPM Festival in Mexico, ADE in
Amsterdam, Creamfields in his hometown Buenos Aires, and an
honourable residency at the spectacular Warung Beach Club in
Brazil.

His success is exemplified by featuring on John Digweed's
Transitions show, and on Proton Radio setting a record of
simultaneous listeners, with rave reviews from Sander Kleinenberg,
Danny Howells, and Desyn Masiello for DJ MAG.

Ricky Ryan is just as well respected for his remixes and productions
while establishing both fine labels, Sick Watona and Avangardia,
supported by Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J, and many more.
