she is a symbol, in her mythology, she sees everything and everyone as she chooses them to be
and though I might try to rearrange her life, she constantly, consistently, refuse to take advice

she is the patient, of her pathologies, drowning in the images of what she wants to be
and though I might try, to regulate her life, she patiently, persistently, insists that she is right

I remember drama, I remember lots of pain, testing each other, with our neurotic games
and though there were times, I feel I was abused, I’d let go of that sorrow for her smile

and so I sit here, reflecting on the past, all those years of planning, and still nothing that lasts
watch expectations, still grovel in my mind, holding on to futures, that should be circumcised
