Music is a tool for thinking with. It forms how I view the world, and it’s capable of enlarging my sense of reality and expanding my knowledge of other ways of thinking and being. I love that it continually offers new perspectives, new ways of seeing, other consciousnesses with which to view reality. 

The mixes I have always loved the most are those that have their own tone, their own language, they reveal a strange new psychic space for us to inhabit. 

Recording mixes has always been an important form of self-therapy for me to illuminate my own feelings and respond to shifts in the world around me.

Bluetung, the brainchild of Mitchell J.G. Reynolds, is a musician and electronics technician based in Eora/Sydney, Australia. With a series of recent full-length releases, Bluetung's sonic landscape draws from electronic music history, encompassing elements of kosmische, tape music, post-punk, and minimalist composition. These influences converge in a unique ambient space crafted by Bluetung.

Since 2018, Bluetung has been sharing textured electroacoustic creations through renowned labels like Altered States Tapes, .jpeg Artefacts, and Club Moss. The latest album, 'Eternity by the Stars,' was released by Theory Therapy in 2023.
