Canada based songwriter, Tolu Adeosun aka Mama Tee, collaborates with Nigerian Based renowned music director and producer Awipi Emmanuel @grandpaawipitv to deliver "The Glory," featuring vocal powerhouse Rume on lead vocals and jojovocals as a backup vocalist.


The Glory is a song that was birthed after a series of challenges Tolu faced last year. The song is about holding on to God through the trials and tribulations of life. Believing that God will see you through and that He will get the glory from one's story.

About the project: Tolu collaborated with Pastor Emmanuel Awipi after being led by the Holy Spirit to request assistance with producing her songs with their mutual friend. Upon hearing Tolu's request, she reached out to Pastor Emmanuel Awipi in Nigeria, who produced the song with lead vocalist Rume and backup vocalists Jojovocals. This is the second song they have produced together. The first song, Beauty of Holiness, can be found on @Tolu A - Mama Tee channel. Watch out for a full-length album coming out on November 19th by the grace of God 🙏🏿

The Glory continues with part 2 featuring UK MOBO award-winning Christian rap artist Triple O. This is an intercontinental collaboration between Canada Based songwriter Tolu Adeosun aka Mama Tee,  UK based Christian rap artist Triple O, Nigerian Based music producer Awipi aka Grandpa as well as Nigerian based vocalist Rume and Jojovocals.

Canada based songwriter Mama Tee, Nigeria based Awipi and Rume return with the live recording of Beauty of Holiness. 


The song  Beauty of Holiness has been described as a sound from Heaven and an atmosphere changer by people that have heard the song.


Mama Tee  has previously stated that “Beauty of Holiness  came to her while she was worshipping God in church."


The song was the first project that the Holy Spirit directed her and Awipi to work on together after meeting over the telephone in July 2021. It was originally released on August 05, 2021, with a lyric video.

The song Ogo (Glory) is a fusion of English, Pigeon English and Yoruba. Inspired by the original version written by Tolu aka Mama Tee, produced by Awipi sung by Rume.

The original version was written after Tolu went through a series of challenges that questioned her purpose/calling in the Lord. She wrote the song to praise God in advance for seeing her through the challenges. Knowing that he would get the glory out of her story.

@pdatruth has perfectly delivered  the message about the need to press on to God's call  so He can get the glory from our story. 

The song also feats. Adeshewa worshipping God in Yoruba at the end.
