Here's one I did a couple of years ago for the excellent Drums 'n' Chants blog in Milan which got aired on Italian Automat Radio. Now for the first time on soundcloud.
The brief was "psych"...but this is definitely my own take on that.
It's not all guitar music...but most of it is...and even the ones you might categorise as "electronic music" come from an out there and experimental sensibility. Hope you enjoy it.

I have never shared this with anyone but like most of my sets, this mix mostly follows my classic storytelling structure: start slow, build it up, bring it down, and end with something that will grab your attention so you know it’s time to go home. Instead of building up the energy, I went for intensity with a little break in the middle and a heavy dose of what my brain thinks is that special Pingipung sauce. In this vain, I wanted to share pretty music that’s easy to listen to and go on an exploration with the listener and challenge you a bit by also travelling along darker and more obscure paths. 

Also, it’s an absolute honour to have made this so make yourself comfortable, close your eyes and enjoy the sounds that flow from your speakers.

Wally Badarou’s contributions to music are far reaching and his work has been fundamental to a surprising amount of projects and genres.

As part of the legendary Compass Point All Stars, assembled by Island Records’ founder Chris Blackwell, his synth work was at the forefront of groundbreaking albums with artists like Grace Jones, Talking Heads, Tom Tom Club, Mick Jagger, Jimmy Cliff, Gwen Guthrie and Gregory Isaacs. 

He designed his studio around Sequential Circuits' Prophet 5 and New England Digital's Synclavier. Riding the wave of emerging technologies of the 80s, he was also an early adopter of custom voice-controlled Yamaha digital mixers.

As a writer, producer or session player Badarou worked with Herbie Hancock, Fela Kuti, Level 42, Robert Palmer, Marianne Faithfull, Foreigner, Miriam Makeba, Manu Dibango, to name just a few.
