mobilegirl is a DJ and producer based in Berlin. Her style behind the booth focuses on creating a highly energetic dance floor that allows for emotionality, for softer moments but also attention-demanding breaks and shifts. An equally fun and challenging combination that gained her traction very early on in her career and established her as an artist to watch in experimental club music – bringing about tours across Europe, East Asia and North America and a spot on the roster of DISCWOMAN. 
Reflecting her general curiosity mobilegirl's inspirations draw from a broad pool that intentionally make her rather difficult to categorise. However, she has made a name for herself through club edits of R&B classics; a predilection for which draws through all of her work. Another influence, not less apparent, are video game scores. Her fascination with the repetitive and soothing effect of music in RPGs accordingly set the foundation for her debut EP "Poise" released in 2017 - a string of tracks that at that time seemed untypically mellow but were created in an effort to decelerate and invite the listener to do the same. This project turned mobilegirl's inspiration into praxis. It opened up the doors for her to shift her focus towards scores of films, art installations and fashion shows the years after, while remaining a force on the dance floor.

Originaria de la Ciudad de México, Trashy.sounds comienza en 2020, impulsada por la pausa y la curiosidad por sumergirse en el mundo de la producción musical a ensamblar sus primeras composiciones. Desde entonces, ha explorado diversos géneros y sonidos, abarcando percusiones, ambient, drum and bass, ritmos experimentales y rápidos, samples y canto. Actualmente, es diseñadora en el Museo Tamayo, una actividad que le permite fusionar el entorno artístico y su sensibilidad estética con la música y la experimentación sonora.

Originally from Mexico City, Trashy.sounds began in 2020, driven by the pause and curiosity to immerse herself in the world of music production to assemble her first compositions. Since then, she has explored diverse genres and sounds, encompassing percussion, ambient, drum and bass, experimental and fast beats, samples and singing. Currently, she is a designer at Museo Tamayo, an activity that allows her to merge the artistic environment and her aesthetic sensibility with music and sound experimentation.

“Exploring the possibilities of blending sounds and discovering new artists is what made this mix come together. It’s a collection of songs that bring me joy, spark curiosity, and make me want to keep listening. These tracks have been with me during all kinds of moments—some fast, like museum openings where I work, and others slow, like stretching and meditating at home. Here we are blazing a new trail, making our way to document and leave a first class record of sound design, Field Recording and cutting edge electronic music made in Sur América. We present our first album, 'Desde los oídos de un sapo', by our favourite amphibian, a man ahead of his time, the Uruguayan Lechuga Zafiro.

"How could I call it my sound if I had not found it myself?"

States the artist, who finished forging his outstanding musical identity on the basis of field recordings. Metal, wood, plastic, glass, rock, toads, birds, sea lions, pigs and water (in its various forms) captured in Uruguay, El Salvador, Chile, China, Argentina and Portugal, coexist and exchange harmonic and dynamic properties. By altering, editing, or simply letting the sounds manifest themselves, Lechuga generates a wide and complex rhythmic-timbral universe. These are 7 tracks that never cease to have a consistency and a fierce character. Lechuga's debut album is a milestone in Latin electronic music. This document opens a new territory, one so genuine and challenging, so real and fertile, that we are confident it will be a must-have anywhere on the planet. This collaboration is our new contribution to the mission of contemplation, so please stop, come to this frog's ear, to feel with both Pablo and us.
