Concrète x Bounce House was an unreal, riotous ride of elation and revelry, the crest of a wild wave, an astonishing achievement of muscle, love, community, and die-hard DIY real-deal True Believer rave shit. It was an honor to work together with Yōsuke - the legend who launched the pier jawns in the first place - to manifest this magic with a team of the nearest and dearest. … as the pier always is, this was the most chaotic carnival of humanity, bringing in the delightfully deranged for a romp across shattered glass, weathered concrete, burning shopping carts, and whoknowswhatelse straight through into shimmering, smiling dawn. 

The August 10 collaboration was the second and final edition of Concrète in the wild summer of 2024. 

This romp really had it all, from close calls to magical moments. Yōsuke b2b Wrench opened the night with funky drum machine flow, Nail Salon pushed the machines further with classic percussive techno motion, DJ Anarres picked up with that soulful spirit of sincere techno they love, and Furtive flew into dawn from pulsing darkness into scintillating daybreak trance. From there, Yōsuke, Nail Salon, DJ Anarres, and Furtive go round-robin b2b until the amps gave out and the generator choked. An adventure of laughter, tears, genuine elation, and true friendship. 

Yōsuke had some nice things to say regarding this arrangement. We’re posting this here for posterity:   “Bounce House has been a stronghold venue in philly for 2 years now, holding a musical & community ethos close to its chest resulting in the most consistently well curated and safest space to lose oneself in the city. As they’re on hiatus through the brutal heat of the summer, the dj’s of the collective ~Furtive, DJ Anarres, Nail Salon ~ will be let loose into the open air to present their each individually unique and wide spanning takes on banging it out for you. Yes indeed!!  Wrench is a bit of a mystery to me. I was actually out of the country on vacation hearing his live guest mix on Vicenta’s radio show while getting ready to go out and thought, yes. Absolutely yes … you can see a real crate digger and lover of the music. With that, I asked Wrench to b2b with me to kick this night off. Looking forward to our literal & musical meeting and what chaos might ensue!!!”

heyy guys i havent been posting lately bc ive had no time to make smth crazy/impressive due to work/school/life. So i wont have any time to make a yk a tryhard edit or just sm like that so due to these circumstances ive decided that im going to be posting a lot more simpler audios and audios that are mostly for me bc ngl i dont listen to a single audio i post and yk its time i start making sm stuff that i like. ty guys for listening to my stuff in the past i really appreciate all the love you guys have given me but my life has changed now and its about time i rearrange my priorities ill try my best to post constantly simple edits but again ty guys. also another thing i learned and want to say is that revenge is a mirror that reflects nothing but your own pain. At first, it feels sharp—focused. You believe it will restore something that was taken, return balance, make the hurt make sense. But the more you feed it, the more it drains you. It doesn’t heal the wound—it keeps it open. You begin to live in response, not intention, shaped by what was done to you rather than who you are. And when it’s over, when the moment passes, you realize nothing changed. They’re untouched. Only you remain in the aftermath, still carrying what you thought you were giving away. Revenge doesn’t free you—it traps you in the very thing you wanted to escape. i had to learn this the hard way dont make the same mistake as me
