Good Block provides the sonic sounds this time round as they come in big for number #007 of our Moonlight Sessions mix series. Recorded back in November, producers, visual artists, DIY record label and DJ duo Good Block brought their expansive selections to The Marquee Moon. The pair have been busy preparing new music (TBA soon) and set to be released on their own imprint, but for now, listen back to over 5 hours of free-flowing music from the depths of their record bags constantly manoeuvring towards the dancefloor.

Had the pleasure of playing the opening 3 hours of Wibar in Leiden's sold out 6th Birthday! 

I wanted to work my way up from 110bpm house (think David Morales Def mixes) to peaktime records and it flowed nicely and ended up being one of my most fun sets in a while, there's something special about going from an empty club to it being packed out.

Our man Tiago was in town recently for some gigs and was nice enough to come out to Kane studios to record a podcast, hang, and have some liquid refreshments. Hailing from Lisbon where he is a weekly resident at Club Lux, Tiago has a laid back intensity that is reflected in the expansive and inquisitive nature of his sets. Raised on good music in his home, turned on to drumming by his older brother, he came to Dj'ing via live music. He has been at it for close to twenty years, and in the last decade added production work to his resume. Disques Town podcast: Episode 5: Dennis Kane w/ Tiago

Christopher Tubbs has been releasing music for nearly 25 years now... Both as Antlantic Conveyor and under his own Tubbs name and in recent years he's linked with Eden Burns as Burns and Tubbs on Public Possession to release music that is just nailing it. It's awlays really well produced and has a perfect mix of club groove and melodic hooks to drive the music along. He's also been a DJ for as long as I can remember... So to the mix... All you need to know is it has A Guy Called Gerald's 'I Won't Give In' on it which is one of the finest records known to man... It also moves through lovely balearic stuff into more clubby moments... A very enjoyable ride.
