Slimfit is a multidisciplinary artist, currently residing in Amsterdam. Their practice is focused on artistic and philosophical research, sonic performance and (moving) digital imagery. In their deejay-sets they seam differing genres together into a collage of resonating and energetic sounds. From rhythmic harddrum to emotional techno and hardcore, from post-club and GQOM to contemporary reggaeton and Neo Perreo. Their sets transgress cultural boundaries - just like their origin transcends colonially defined borders and nations.

Nacida en Barcelona pero con sede en Londres, es cofundadora de MUSA, un colectivo emergente que tiene como objetivo dar visibilidad a los artistas FLINTA con sus eventos, podcast de Soundcloud y compilaciones de VA.
Como artista cree en el poder de la música como herramienta para el activismo. Politizando la noche desde la comunidad queer y estableciendo conexiones entre otros colectivos y artistas de todo el mundo con las que se compartan las mismas implicaciones. Siempre reclamando igualdad y diversidad en la pista de baile.

Born in Barcelona but based in London, she is a co-founder of MUSA, an emerging collective aimed at giving visibility to FLINTA artists through their events, Soundcloud podcasts, and VA compilations.
As an artist, she believes in the power of music as a tool for activism, politicizing the night from the queer community and establishing connections between other collectives and artists worldwide who share the same implications. Always advocating for equality and diversity on the dance floor.
