Trushmix presents Bristol's own Curly Waters. No stranger to the Trushmix series. This time Curly was on a visit in Berlin, and played a smashing set at DJ Sotofett's  Tresor x Wania night at Globus/Tresor!

Here a three hour set consisting of quality mostly house and techno music. As an opening set for an amazing night, Curly starts easy and gradually builds up a consistent strong vibe and energy. Some dubby sounds, US style, UK sounds, electro, hints of breakbeat, and some good shifts in tempo and groove. This is it!

A very special recording from our 10 years of MFM event at Fairfield Amphitheatre last September between Jamie and Lauren. It was beautiful to see two close friends throwing down tracks, lost in the music and the thing that they love. You know things are going well when an hour into their set, Jamie and Lauren both asked if we were recording the set. Yesterday was Jamie's birthday and we and Lauren felt it was the right time to release this mix, as a celebration of Jamie and his music. Moxie - 13 year anniversary show 080524

On May 25th 2024, to accompany the launch of his Arthur Russell book "Travels Over Feeling" Richard King put together an event at London's Barbican celebrating Arthur's life with an all star musical cast recreating and reimagining his music.

I was thrilled to be invited to play a DJ set in the foyer afterwards. I have been an Arthur Russell devotee for 30 years and decided to play an all Arthur Russell DJ set*. The atmosphere was very special with lots of love transmitting back and forth from the DJ booth to the dancefloor. I really felt a freedom to slowly build it up playing so many of my favourite AR tracks and it was one of my very favourite DJ gis of 2024 so far.


*Full disclosure - there was an additional 30 minutes finale of this set that didn't record where I played non Arthur Russell, disco / disco adjacent records.
