Sheffield-born and London-based, Nyra is a DJ, producer, and label founder whose eclectic sound blends new wave, soul, funk, disco, synth pop, and electronica. Rising from Sheffield’s underground scene, he launched the influential Downlo club night and honed his skills at legendary venues like Bed and Gatecrasher. Now based in London, Nyra has released music on Secretsundaze, Gudu Records, Domino, and his own label, Canoe, earning support from artists like Ricardo Villalobos, Peggy Gou, and Laurent Garnier, while performing at premier venues and festivals including Fabric, Glastonbury, Pikes Ibiza, and ADE Amsterdam.

Gray Area's mission is to build a bigger house music community in North America by helping fans discover exciting house music artists, event brands and festivals that are new to them.
