“Bedrooms and Cities” is an essential record in the catalog of Berlin's iconic Tresor label, which was an important reference point for me in discovering techno in the late 1990s. Here, Neil Landstrumm's record becomes the starting point for being filtered through Chicago's Juke, which provided an important foundation for footwork.
