On this month’s show, we welcome a guest mix from Arthur Lastmann, Marseille-based DJ, record collector, and co-founder of Into The Deep Records and Into The Deep Treasury. Arthur’s reputation is built on an ever-curious ear - one that moves between dusty cellars, flea markets, and club systems with equal fascination. His guest mix unfolds in that same exploratory spirit, drifting from ambient textures into dub-soaked basslines, and winding through IDM structures that glow with cinematic undertones. It’s a set that mirrors the ethos of his work as a label-runner: bridging eras, geographies, and moods in search of overlooked beauty.

This month's episode we have a live recording of an amazing Q&A event we put together collaborating with the incredible Bec from the not for profit Space Cast. We invited three panellists to Wax Music Lounge last month, and did a live show. Our panelists come from all different creative walks of life and the synergy of the Q&A was something magical: 
Pjenné - DJ, writer, radio show host, curator, label owner and PhD graduate
Shannon May Powell- somatic therapist, artist, writer, poet and performer
MaggZ - award-winning movement artist, creative director and producer
For the second half of the show, we've included a mix by Manusia Menari, recorded from the same event which we couldn't be happier with. Manusia Menari aka Malik is an Indonesian-Australian artist based in Naarm, and is also one of the minds behind Home End, a mix series that pulls together a community of friends from far and wide.

How does it feel to be caged

Daniel Oliverius, otherwise known as "@udmo", is a local producer and DJ with several compositions on Melbourne label @analogueattic.

The talented young artist is heavily influenced by music from the 1990's: a time of experimental production techniques, textural soundscapes and playful melodies. As such, this mix consists primarily of tracks from old ambient and downtempo CDs produced by artists such as The Bionaut and New Composers. Interspersed throughout the mix are delightful field recordings captured from a winter weekend away in Kangaroo Ground. 

Currently Daniel is experimenting with producing more club-orientated music, so be sure to keep an ear out for exciting things to come.
