remember this was live club set, so there was issues meaning the mixing wasn't as tight as I would've liked (trying to not focus on perfection currently), levels are all over the places and there was emergency loop issues but had so much fun playing for the queer girlies of Bristol :)

018 DJ Scott Sanders: Opt in to Love

This month we are proud to share a potent hour long mix by San Francisco based DJ and AI music researcher Airali.

From Airali – "I had the idea of a nightare unfolding as a guide". 

While this isn't a traditional a dance mix, it contains the same hypnotic signatures as Airali's club sets. Undulating rhythmic through-lines coax us through a hazy cinematic atmosphere that never lets us get too comfortable. It's not all dark however – the occasional sprinkling of analog instrumentation and ethereal vocals amid machine-chaos and dense percussion conjures flora blooming in a concrete landscape.

Previously based in the UK, Airali has played in London-based clubs, including FOLD, Corsica Studios, Venue MOT, and The Glove That Fits, to name a few. In 2022, she completed a mini tour of Japan where she DJ'd at venues Circus, Spread and Forestlimit. More recently, Airali relocated to and debuted in California, where she has played in Oakland and San Francisco. You can dig more into Airali here:
