Volume 82 is a tribute to the great Simon Fisher Turner, put together by Leonid Treskunov who is based out of New York. S.F.T has been involved in an unusually wide range of music projects over his career (not to mention his success as an actor).  His work in music has ranged from composing soundtracks for films, playing in bands (most notably “Deux Files”), as well as recording and releasing material (to this day) under his own name and various aliases. Leonid has found a thread with this mix that highlights a particularly tender side of Turner’s catalogue. Much love to Leonid for putting some serious love into this one!

Their music – which tackles themes of personal struggle, spirituality and love with a tender frankness – sounds like pop thats been run through the ringer. Dissonance marries harmony in tightly written songs inspired by the musicality and aesthetics of a misremembered bygone era.
