At last year’s Opening Party at Unsound Kraków, DJ E (aka Chuquimamani-Condori) showcased their distinct hyper-charged sound. Narrowing it down to genres is pretty impossible, but there are fragments of Andean folk, cumbia and country music ballads, often carefully layered with a bunch of soundboard-effects. The result is a classic DJ E set. Many of the tracks played here were recently included in the almost 2-hour long collection Edits, which you can pick up on Chuquimamani-Condori’s Bandcamp page.

本次新企劃邀請了五位臺灣新興創作者與我共同創作合輯。

「Wu Ji | 無極」象徵未知的聲音潛能與萬物起源，同時也是創造的「零點」。透過這次合輯，我們期望集結各位藝術家的聲音，激盪出新的火花，讓創作者在自己的音景世界中自由表述，為新世代鋪設一條探索潛在可能性的道路。

《1.dream, 1 testicle, 48 breaks》
是一場關於誓願與斷裂的聲音省思。持續的合成器弦音如同無際的時空，游移低音則暗示世俗不安的流動。來自新宿站前老人的呼喊，與西本願寺的經文迴響交錯一構築出俗世與超越之間的緊張。富緩慢的amen breaks 介入，兩者間的差距不再只是意象，而是節奏、停頓與呼吸的聲波斷點。四十八個斷裂如同四十八大願，象徵著在無常與喧囂中，仍有一種世俗的承諾迴盪不息。

Drone-like synth strings stretch into bound
ss space, while a restless bassline suggests the instability of passiage. 
The old man's cry in front of Shinjuku station and the resonance of rituals in Nishi Hongan-ji intersect, forming a tension between the worldly and between the transcendent .

When the slow amen breaks emerge, they are no longer conceptual ruptures, but pauses in breath, interruptions of time, and fragmented frequencies. Forty-eight breaks stand as echoes of the Forty-Eight Vows, embodying a universal promise persisting through impermanence and noise.
