Heartfelt tune about a truck driver trying to get home at the holidays to his loved one. Emotional acoustic ballad including vocals, acoustic guitar, strings and orchestra. Soft country feel too. Song crescendos with sincere message. Based on my experiences with long commutes on highways next to big rigs and having empathy for these folks who spend so much time away from loved ones. Originally released in 2021, this new 2022 version has a much more dynamic lead vocal and adds backing vocals and additional orchestral textures to capture the interest of the listener.

Vocals/guitar/organ/drums.  Has 70's Steely Dan feel. I used alternating minor seventh chords as backbone with understated but fun, melodic solo. I am the multi-instrumentalist on the song. I added trailing backing vocal reminiscent of Carpenters style effect.
