My twin brother Jordan actually made and produced this song.  The instrumentals he did himself.  My sister did back up double vocals.  We recorded this song at my brothers house.  Its a very deep and meaningful song about just being on the beach and relating my life and thoughts to things on the beach and correlating it with the mesmerizing beauty of Hawaii. My mother inspired this song, she is the reason for my being and losing her was the most difficult and most heartbreaking thing I have ever had to face.

This song was recorded and written during a very challenging period of my life when my wife left me and I was left with living in a house that she left me in. The initial shock of it all was mostly because she left without telling me she was leaving and I had no idea where she was and what was going on.

This tracks instrumental was created by my twin-brother, his best friend and fellow band mate Brandon, and myself made and used the ukulele I bought for my brother in Hawaii that he played and recorded that’s used in the instrumental. I wrote this song about my love for Hawaii and all of its beauty sharing the experiences/times I had while living there. Being in Hawaii and being fortunate enough to have the opportunity to live there is what I like to call “Living the American Island Dream”.

My twin brother and I wrote the lyrics together and used a ruins and wake remix he created from his band at the time STERYLE song called Ruins and Wake. I wrote this song about being in a relationship that is toxic where the person you are with doesn’t trust you and is very insecure with themselves and in the relationship. No matter how hard you try you can’t change how the other person feels, their actions, or the time that it take for them to move forward from past issues in their relationship.
