Live recording from my warmup set at Revolver in Melbourne last month for the Curses Labour Day Eve party. 

Played a mixture of styles from 110bpm up to 118. A few records that I picked up in Japan the week before and a bunch of tracks off the cdjs. Will need to excuse the sketchy mixing in places but was having such a blast I kept forgetting how to mix properly.

Big shouts to Stockholm Syndrome and the Tilt Shift crew for getting me down to play plus the mega team that came out to party! So stoked to get down there and have a big one for my last gig before the lockdown kicked in!

Iain Yes has been producing music, promoting and playing at parties all around the world for over a decade now. Not one to be constrained by genre, this lover of many bpms and beat-patterns' sound is tough to pin down. Brought up on underground music in Scotland, he was heavily influenced by the forward-thinking UK scene and has honed his skills playing gigs all around the world. A true “DJs’ DJ”. He is as comfortable playing underground techno in sweaty basements as he is spinning forgotten rare-groove vinyl on sun-kissed terraces. With a new found love of synthesizers, he is focusing most of his spare time in the studio experimenting on sound with a slew of new productions in the works. As a pivotal member of the up-and-coming Byron Bay electronic music scene, he runs a monthly event 'Sabotage Fiesta', is a resident at Locura and has been involved with the rise of the iconic Coco Republic parties. From peak-time festival slots at Splendour in the Grass, Falls Festival, Manifest, Rabbits Eat Lettuce, Bohemian Beat Freaks and clubs such as Revolver, Boney, Section 8. and more, he is guaranteed to bring his unique style to any party.
