Chocolate Grinder was born in Jena, received musical training on the piano for 10 years and started DJing in 2012. He has a fondness for vinyl, which is why today's Vacanza Radio is vinyl only. The connection to Jena, the Kassablanca and the local scene, but also collectives like Freude am Tanzen were the companions for his later career. What once started as House music gradually developed in the direction of permissive, groovy minimal music and now ended with more techy sounds. "Lots of 909, little swing, clapping hits on 2 and 4". However, Chocolate Grinder still sees a lot of House influence and wouldn't attribute it solely to Techno based on the general groove. Maybe you could call it Progressive Tech-House music, he says.

In addition, Chocolate Grinder is an integral part of Zeitraum collective, which organized its own festival near Leipzig in 2019 and has since organized smaller club events with top-class DJs. In addition, he has been running a small label called Wellness Records since 2018, which has released a few but well-developed records for vinyl and digital releases in the Minimal House area and is distributed by friends from Inch by Inch. Well-known artists such as Mbius, Sota, Diego Krause, Matter, Award and Pük have already published their releases there.

Chocolate Grinder has already played at mjut, Institut für Zukunft or Elipamanoke and studied musicology alongside, moved to Mainz to work as an event manager to make festivals possible. He also likes to produce music, sometimes Electro, House, Minimal or Progressive, which he likes to play often. On a donation basis, he also explicitly, but not exclusively, offers online courses or in person for Flinta* people to help them get familiar with Ableton and producing.

Baikal Nomads presents an downtempo/organic house release with melodic grooves and trippy atmosphere by gingembrę and blue Dietrich.

It's the first time that gingembrę and blue Dietrich have collaborated, and it's also each of their debuts on the Baikal Nomads record label. They first made contact via Murmure Records, where they have released their individual music, alongside doing A&R for the imprint.

blue Dietrich is a Brazilian artist living in France, his progressive style of organic house infuses jazz influences with melodic synthesisers and crisp percussion. He is a skilled DJ whose productions channel his knowledge of the dance floor, and his tracks have been released by respected record labels such as Bar 25 Music and Cafe De Anatolia.

gingembrę is a downtempo artist from Germany, and his smouldering style has a growing suspense with majestic melodies and immersive atmosphere. He has an international fanbase, and has played shows everywhere from Burning Man to Landjuweel in Amsterdam. gingembrę's tracks and remixes can be found on imprints including Magician On Duty, down., Serafin Audio, and MONADA.

"Thou Shall Believe in Witches" is the collaborative original track on the release, and it's got a magical vocal sample that fits with the spellbinding vibe of its soaring pads and throbbing bassline. gingembrę's solo rework of the second track "Planes Are Fireflies" drops the tempo and strips back the drums to let the enchanting synths cast their hallucinatory spell. blue Dietrich also delivers a solo version of "Planes Are Fireflies," defined by shuffling drums and a jazzy bassline with distorted tones.
