Bailey is a professional singer, voice teacher and business coach for musicians who want to make their full time living as a performing artist. She studied music education at the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley and currently runs several projects in the performing arts space - The Singing Entrepreneur, business coaching and entrepreneurial education for professional musicians; Bailey Barnes LLC Voice Studio, voice lessons for emerging professional singers; the Bailey Bea Suiter Combo, performing standard and modern Jazz and Black Improvisational Music; Bailey Barnes Soprano, singing art song and operatic repertoire. In addition to her entrepreneurial pursuits, she is an adjunct voice instructor in the music department at Fort Lewis College. Bailey has extensive performance experience, including two European tours with the German opera company, Opera Classica Europa, and two performances on the main stage at Telluride Jazz. She plays and sings jazz, classical and folk music with different venues and organizations around the rural Southwest, including 3rd Avenue Arts, 11th Street Station, Pine River Arts, Four Leaves Winery, The Dandelion Cafe (formerly known as Eno/Cypress Cafe), Primi Pasta and Wine Bar and more.
