Wrote this song originally for Chris and the girl he was talking to at the time, a few days later I went through the same thing hence why the lyrics and format seem so carnal and reactionary/intuitive. The first few lines are meant to depict the dead end of a maze someone stumbles upon by those whose lives are lead by the heart; the glass ceiling before compromise. The rest of the song is just the old "Delusions inspired by isolated despairing." Grief is a guru to those (mis)fortunate enough to persevere its lessons. A single instance is all it takes to commit to lessons learned, inscribed as the intangible scars which remain so as to remember the power and thereafter the suffering of what it is to hold your hand over the stove.
