The last was the banger that started 2021.
This one's for one of 2020s top songs. A lot of artists have already done a remix of this including Joyner Lucas, Dax, MGK, end even Justin Bieber. So before I start the remix road based on my music journey, I thought to give this a shot.

Well... So as a sort of introduction, I decided to remix Eminem's My name is and use it to explain how I came up with my artist name.

Need A Name (My Name Is Remix)

Back then as a kid with basically no access to the internet, I couldn't really download songs myself and had to get em from my friends. A friend of mine named Kaydon (@KaydiiKAINE) was kinda my main plug when it came to music. He sent me some of the very first Eminem songs I listened to: My name is and Detroit vs everybody. He also sent me some Drake albums. Views and If you're reading this it's too late.
A Lotta people don't like Drake while others still think he's great. I'm kinda a Drake fan (not a super fan or anything but there're some aspects of his music that I admire). That's why on my remix road based on my music journey, Drake's next. 
This month is feeling a little drizzy.
So I'm thinking... One remix... From each album he sent. 
So here's my 6God remix from the album If you're reading this it's too late.

So... It's still April. So.. It's still Drake. My friend Kaydon sent me two albums. If you're reading this it's too late and Views. From the second one, there were two songs I listened to the most (any guesses?). Yup. Pop style and Still here. How to pick which one to remix. Heck. Why not do both? So this is a mash up x remix x skit of a song. Hope you enjoy it. 

P. S my grandma did not beat me up with a belt. She's the nicest and sweetest lady you could ever meet but for Comedy's sake I had to. Sorry gran, love you.

King Kunta. Got the whole world talking. King Kunta by Kendrick Lamar was my 2015. The song was trending everywhere, even among the kids my age and it wasn't long before I got a listen at the song— I wasn't feeling it that much. That was until I saw the video on TV. "By the time you hear the next pop, the funk shall be within you." Pop! And so it was. That song became one of my favourites and so on my remix road, it's only fair that I include it. This one had some issues in the making process but here it is regardless.

Okay so I paraphrased the line a little but the point remains. Roll up by Emtee was the song that played 2015/2016. I even remember a couple girls reading a remix of it about a dude in our class. A pretty insulting remix seeing that it was called Roll On. Anyway, I decided to give it a go. But no insults this time. Instead... I thought to throw in a couple different languages. Am I ever gonna quit? 
Undoubtedly one of the first Hip Hop songs I ever heard and definitely the first from Nasty C and so of course it gets a spot on the remix road. For my twist on it, instead of saying Hell naw, I thought to make this a more inspirational and gospel driven track. I also threw in one of my dad's Sunday sermons. All produced and edited by me.  We all have good and bad times that we can't seem to figure out. We can never know why. But Heaven knows.

Wo! by Olamide was the first Nigerian song I heard when my family came back home. Honestly, I was disturbed by how catchy it was but yet how little meaning it had. Seriously. Ajekajekajika wo! What's that supposed to mean?! So I decided to make it into another song, one that had some actual content. A diss track of sorts. Wrote this back in 2020 when I had no music recording software at all. Now, I have bandlab and while that's not much, I figured it was time to make one of those long awaited songs. After rewriting some parts, it was finally ready.

This is it. The song that got me into rap. 
Man, I knew Eminem but I wasn't a Stan till I heard this track. Funny thing is I thought both verses were his and so when I learnt that Joyner Lucas had the feature, I did a quick run up on a few songs of his (Most from his ADHD album that had just come out) and my mind was blown. J.L found is way to my top five. 
It all started with Lucky you (Don't believe me? Check the My name is remix a couple months back.) 
So it's only fitting that I give this a shot. Like Woah, I wrote most of this a year ago and after some editing, it was finally ready (or as ready as it can be) for the release. 

My life hasn't been perfect but hey, unlucky me.
