King Kunta. Got the whole world talking. King Kunta by Kendrick Lamar was my 2015. The song was trending everywhere, even among the kids my age and it wasn't long before I got a listen at the song— I wasn't feeling it that much. That was until I saw the video on TV. "By the time you hear the next pop, the funk shall be within you." Pop! And so it was. That song became one of my favourites and so on my remix road, it's only fair that I include it. This one had some issues in the making process but here it is regardless.

Wo! by Olamide was the first Nigerian song I heard when my family came back home. Honestly, I was disturbed by how catchy it was but yet how little meaning it had. Seriously. Ajekajekajika wo! What's that supposed to mean?! So I decided to make it into another song, one that had some actual content. A diss track of sorts. Wrote this back in 2020 when I had no music recording software at all. Now, I have bandlab and while that's not much, I figured it was time to make one of those long awaited songs. After rewriting some parts, it was finally ready.

This is it. The song that got me into rap. 
Man, I knew Eminem but I wasn't a Stan till I heard this track. Funny thing is I thought both verses were his and so when I learnt that Joyner Lucas had the feature, I did a quick run up on a few songs of his (Most from his ADHD album that had just come out) and my mind was blown. J.L found is way to my top five. 
It all started with Lucky you (Don't believe me? Check the My name is remix a couple months back.) 
So it's only fitting that I give this a shot. Like Woah, I wrote most of this a year ago and after some editing, it was finally ready (or as ready as it can be) for the release. 

My life hasn't been perfect but hey, unlucky me.

So... I've decided to record a Lotto remix. Lotto, for those that don't know, is a song from Joyner Lucas' 2018 album HDHD. It's also the FIRST SONG from that album that I listened to after hearing JL on lucky you (See Unlucky Me for more information). 

For this song, I decided to go with the theme of what I would do if I won a large sum of money (or... Jackpot, hence the name) while also name dropping every single song on that ADHD album.

Well remember when I said I'd have more Dot here and y'all thought I lied? Guess what? In fact don't guess... Lemme just tell you about the song.
Lost was not only on of the first NF songs but also one of the first times I heard Hopsin on the mic. Song blew my mind and made me an instant Fan of the both of them. 
Then I started University and met CJ (better known as Dot) who turned out to be a prrettty big NF fan (like the guy knows all of Nate's songs probably... At least I think so). CJ also happened to dabble in rap and so well...the rest is history.

I'm going baby on baby! 
One of the last minute additions to my remix road (Perfect, Homicide, and a migos song that's yet to be decided being among the remaining).
It's also the first Dababy song I ever heard. I'd heard of Dababy but it was through this song and others like Babysitter, Amazing grace, and some from the Baby on Baby album that I truly got acquainted with Baby's flow. My brother and I are even on the look out for it in other people's music now. We're like "Oh dang he pulled out that Dababy flow!"
So I thought to do a take on this. 
For the culture. Oh wait no that's in December. 
Seeing as my last project was banned from soundcloud due to not owning the rights (thanks Dave), I hope this makes up for it.

That's all there is to say about this song. While it wasn't the first Logic song I heard (Homicide remix coming in November), it was such a good song that I thought to do a little something for my mid month release. 
I first heard perfect when Logic released the remix with Asap Ferg and Lil Wayne. I had to go back and actually listen to the main song before I could hear the remix (because that's how it's supposed to work) and damn. Bobby killed it.

Yeah I had to give it my own attempt and when I needed something last minute for October, I thought: Why not?
