Travelling with CMS, we spent some time in Northern Nepal - in the middle of nowhere...filming in various prisons that had thriving church communities on the inside. This was captured in a all-women prison.

NEPAL - LADIES PRISON

Working with the Bible Society - and the Black Yi Tribe of Western China - near Kunming, we spent a few days documenting the story of how the Bible had recently been fully translated for the first time in their local dialect. We met this one lady in the local church who was eager to sing for us...this was the result - which I believe is in her Black Yi language. Parts 2 and 3 to follow.

As part of our Bible Society trip to China, we told the story of one Rev, who oversees 240 plus churches - some 45,000 congregation. We followed him as he travelled to several of those churches and recorded some authentic worship in these places.

As MD of @whitestonemedia and electronic musician @Ian_o_music I've had the privilege over the years to travel the world for the purposes of making films for various charities and organisations. I've always had an interest in authentic, ethnic worship - performed and experienced by real people in real situations...this site is a collection of exactly that - spontaneous moments of worship and music caught on tape.
