Gannein est l'une des valeurs montantes de la techno française et pas seulement. Nous entendons parler de lui depuis de nombreux mois, dans nos conversations avec de nombreux DJ et labels, qui ne s'y trompent pas : attention talent !

Gannein, né en France et aujourd'hui basé à Berlin, s'est imposé au sein de la nouvelle garde de la techno, captivant le public avec un son à la fois élégamment raffiné et viscéralement immersif. Chaque performance transcende l'éphémère et laisse une trace distincte et mémorable. Les paysages sonores novateurs de Gannein redéfinissent les frontières du genre, témoignant de l'énergie brute qui coule sous la surface. La musique est une descente contrôlée dans le chaos primal, culminant dans des moments de libération transcendante. For episode 42 we have Psykoterapi. Hailing from the vibrant small city underground scene Psykoterapi draws inspiration from her roots and experiences. Since stepping behind the decks in early 2023, she has graced the stages of various parties in different cities and now became one of the rising UG dj’s in Stockholm.
Venues and parties in Stockholm (where she now is based) at Spektrum, Slakthuset, Resebyrån and Four_6 collective to name a few.

Her sets includes a unique blend of fast-paced, hard-hitting, groovy, hypnotic, and minimal sounds. 

Interview with Psykoterapi:


Q: What made you start DJing?
A: I was curious about learning since I started going to raves back in 2017 and was especially very inspired by my DJ-friends. Also the thought of picking the music and sharing a journey. I wanted to challenge myself with something I so long were scared to do because of anxiety.

Q: Describe your style in three words?
A: Hypnotic, groovy and minimal

Q: Your best set in 2023/2024?
A: My first “real gig” in Uppsala summer 2023, maybe not because of the track selection and mixing skills but the feeling and vibe over all that I felt that night.

Q: Your favourite track right now?
A: Hard to pick one but one of my favorites right now is Pierce - Muun. I love the sounds and the track blends well with a lot of other tracks in my collection.

This is what power sounds like. The pivotal release in DJ Freakuency's career and a massive evolutional step for him sonically as he traverses through his already world-renowned sound palette, re-defining his discipline of noise-based nuance, openly acknowledging "The city scene that started it all".

"Nightcrawler", the first track on the A-side, is a meticulously produced dancefloor banger that will soundtrack your next raving experience.
