Ice Chimes (disquiet0471)

I been doing these New Year Ice challenges for a few years and I suppose each year is a snapshot of whatever I was using at the time. This year, what with the Covid buggeration, meant I spent a lot of time building diy synths and modules.  I most recently built a Plinky synth, a simply lovely polyphonic digital synth and sampler. I fed it the original loop I used for the challenge in 2013 and used its outputs to trigger a DFAM and modulate fx. The decayed sax sound is the plinky oscillators fed through Monsoon

Fin 2018 à Marseille, juste avant qu’un certain mur soit érigé et que d’autres ne s’écroulent, des habitant.es du quartier de la Plaine et de ses alentours se retrouvent autour de l’envie de faire du documentaire et de la création sonore. Le collectif Copie Carbone naît de ces rencontres, et documente la lutte de son quartier, produit des sons et organise des séances d’écoutes publiques. 

En mars 2020, le collectif Copie Carbone est invité par le festival marseillais La Première Fois. À cette occasion, le collectif réalise "La première fois", un pièce sonore sur le thème de la première fois ! Copie Carbone est aussi invité par Numéro Zéro à réaliser, sur place et en direct, la radio du festival.  Le festival La Première Fois peut avoir lieu, juste avant le confinement... 

En janvier 2021, Juliette Chartier et Boris Gobin sont au micro de Chloé Sanchez pour présenter deux pièces du collectif : "La première fois" et "Le mur".
