Just watched an awesome video by Tom Cosm on Youtube where he explains his technique for 'call and response' in music production. Feeling inspired, I decided to put his advice into action and created this Drum and Bass track. It's a bit spontaneous, but I wanted to share it with all of you. Hope you enjoy!

Dieser Song trägt seinen Namen, weil sein Herzstück ein Sample ist, das ich aufgenommen habe, als mein CD Player (Wecker) anging - ziemlich weirdes Geräusch kam da raus. Auch die Vocals stammen aus diesem Sample - ich hab am ende der Aufnahme gesagt: "Das isch denn mi CD Player wo ahgoht", um später noch zu wissen, was ich da eigentlich aufgenommen habe.

shadowplay bedeutet, dass im unterbewusstsein dinge mitschwingen, die wir nicht bewusst wahrnehmen. genau deshalb habe ich den einen song und die ep so benannt. die ep reflektiert ereignisse aus meinem inneren im letzten jahr. mit dem release fühlt es sich an, als hätte ich diese vorgänge überwunden.

I am constantly evolving my DJing style, seamlessly transitioning between different genres. The genres that resonate with me the most are electronica/downtempo and organic/melodic house. There are moments when I gravitate towards progressive and metallic sounds and rhythms, while at other times, I prefer to create a more laid-back and warm sonic atmosphere. My musical choices heavily rely on my mood and the specific venue or event. Ultimately, my aim as a DJ is to intuitively choose the perfect track at the precise moment, ensuring that the audience follows my path.
