Good until this point. I really doubt anybody actually cares about people being tankies.  Nationalism is a powerful rallying point for the proles and you do yourself a disservice if you don't recognize it. That said, there are reasons besides 'hating America' for pushing back against these lines. Namely that IF you mindlessly parrot this CIA curated narrative, not only do you end up attack socialism itself in the minds of the broader public, you end up letting American elites redirect blame in what could be a big opportunity for everyone leftward of Joe Biden rather than being the liability you let it be.
