Major Splee released their debut album "Superhero Penguin" in January 1998. featuring Maryanne Sjunka on Vocals, Dale Musso on Guitar, Louise Vickers on Bass and Laurence Smith on Drums. The band was formed in Durban, South Africa in May 1997.
re released album features three demo tracks from the earliest incarnation of Major Splee, with Sarah Courtney on Vocals and Warren Dixon on Bass, recorded at the BAT Centre rehearsal rooms, Durban, 1997.
