I've always loved car/driving songs. Some of you may recall the  college 
 radio hit single I wrote for the Wrong Band, "I Live In My Car" (1983). 
The Sunday drive used to be an American ritual when I was growing up. I'd like to see it make a come back. It has at my house.

We all believe we have the luxury of time. We don't. Life is shorter than you know. So make sure you love as if each day were your last. Because it may very well be just that.

Someone asked why I have never written a Bluebird song. I didn't have a good answer, so I wrote one.

The Beatles made me do it! If it weren't for them I would've been just another John Q. Normal, but No! I had to watch Ed Sullivan and that ruined me for life. Garage bands in the 60's, Prog rock in the 70's, New wave in the 80's, back to the woodshed in the 90's and now songwriting and perform music that inspired by all of the above. Trying to make a connection with you and make life a little more bearable? Hope you enjoy what you hear.
I am also 1/2 of the singer/songwriter duo The Sons of Mary. The other half being Justin Case whom I met at an open mic night in Clarksville Tennessee in 2013. After getting to know each other, we discovered both our mothers were named Mary, hence the name. Though our musical influences were different, we found common ground on which to begin a songwriting partnership. Collectively we have been writing songs for 80 years. In 2019 we released our first album entitled "Thinking of You". Justin's style leans more toward Country and mine leans more toward Brit-pop. The album reflects this sound and having both lived for many years, our lyrics are often thought provoking and hopefully inspiring to those looking for light in the darkness.
