Blaine Mason is a tested mediator between tension and release. Founder of the party-series-turned-label PHAASER, Mason has brought a neurotic and striking style of techno and dance to the city of Nashville, TN.

His mixes span all eras and moods; from classic raw techno to modern polished minimal, to filthy 2000’s schranz to current-day breakbeat, electro and dub techno.

Co-founder of local venue/label Disctrix, Mason’s focus on blending classic dirty analog sounds with polished modern moods has introduced locals to the new era of techno while keeping its origins apparent and forward on the floor. His original productions focus on groove and shuffling drum sequences that create a lively high-energy environment while still keeping dense atmospheres and entrancing moods intact. Mason’s releases have found a home through many established labels such as Hybrid Productions, PHTM, Darkroom Bureau, Radiance, and Murk Records

“Like most of my recordings, I wanted this mix to reflect what our dancefloors feel like in Nashville. The crowd here likes things raw and rowdy, but also really appreciates the break in energy with more contemplative tracks which you’ll hear in the back half of this mix. But once the dancers have caught their breath, they’re ready to cut the rug back up with some hard punchy techno, breakbeat and electro. I wanted this mix to capture the Nashville peak-time hour and all of the moods and energies you feel in those moments. 615 is alive!!!”

ABOUT THE ARTIST: Native New Yorker and Indian by birth, Jahveri has been dabbling with music production and DJing since the early age of 16. What once started off as a hobby slowly became a passion. Having different aliases in the past, Jahveri was officially born in March of 2022 when he decided to take his artist vision in another direction.

In July of 2022, he started Hypnotherapy, a podcast on SoundCloud which showcases hypnotic and psychedelic music. He has featured artists like Damon Bradley, APS, Pastels, Eric Umble, Matt Altman & many more. In November of 2022 he founded Mind Xpansion, a party with one sole purpose, to bring the minds of like-minded music heads together. Some of his prior bookings include Isabel Soto, Lychee, Deepak Sharma, Sai & Aaron J.

Currently Jahveri has been hitting the studio more than ever, taking lessons with other producers in the game and really honing in on his sound. Three words that Jahveri uses to best describe his sound would be sci-fi, sinister & hypnotic. Some of his biggest influences right now include Takaaki Itoh, Luke Slater, Wata Igarashi & Oscar Mulero.

ABOUT THE MIX: "This mix encapsulates the heart and soul of New York City from Jahveri's point of view; driving, chaotic, with moments of sorrow, happiness and always in a constant state of change, just like the big apple. Mod21 is the project of Manuele Chiaravalloti, an italian electronic music producer and experimental sound artist. Born in Satriano, Italy, his musical journey began in 2007 when he moved to Switzerland. Here, after 7 years of musical research, produces his first two works released on the Munich based label Prologue. His music emerges from a deep and rich imagination which flows into sounds dark and slippery that seem to be born in the bowels of a parallel world to ours. Browsing increasingly abstract concepts of sound, carefully processed , the result is a particular footprint easily recognizable.
