Цим міксом / альбомом / релізом ми відкриваємо вам світ резидентів лейбла ОЧІ.

Це наш перший альбом / мікстейп.

Він зібраний виключно з творів резидентів, багато треків створювалися саме для цього мікса.

Тут є треки, які ви могли вже чути на наших шоукейсах ці місяці.

Селектор і креейтор лейбла, be_ca_di, продовжив лінію шумкастів made in Ukraine, яку він почав рік тому.

І рік тому народилася ідея створення свого лейблу, зібрати митців з різних міст України, які об'єднані вільним баченням музики.

Цей мікстейп - калейдоскоп українського електронного андерграунда останніх років.

Ми почнемо з молитви, зануримося у треки, які були створені в останні місяці як рефлексія на війну, перейдемо до дуже ритмічних творів, після яких буде оголошена мрія. Нижні частоти поступово будуть нас огортати, і ось ми вже кличемо ЗСУ і обіцяємо собі, що знайдемо кожного, що їм не буде жодного тихого місця на цій землі. Згадаємо boiler room у Слов'янську, і крізь біль відпустимо це літо, літо 2022 року.
Легкі клавіші повернуть нас у сьогодення, і ось ми вже у світі модулярів.
Знайдемо відповідь на питання, чи існує степовий метрополітен, і як це - бути у вільному падінні.
Крізь ембіентний трек ми підійдемо до творів, які нагадають нам, звідки все пішло - і крізь ці звуки ми дізнаємося все різноманіття електронної музики.
І ось ми вже в кінці мікстейпа, поступово рухаємося у швидкі BPM-ми. Чому слова пусті, що таке - абсолютне занурення з втратою відчуття часу, і як сучасне кіно увійшло в наш мікс - це все ви дізнаєтеся на завершенні нашої збірки.

The first report is filed by Plague 94 from the greater Montreal area. This is Plague 94’s first time compiling tracks into a mix. He has been making playlists for his own enjoyment and listening to a vast repertoire of underground and mainstream music for years. This was the next logical step.

REPORT 001: Plague 94

"There was something truly special about the industrial music scene during the 80s and 90s in Canada. I was too young to experience it since I was born in the 90s. When I discovered these bands years later, it really blew my mind. You had legendary bands like Skinny Puppy and Front Line Assembly in Vancouver who spearheaded the movement. Both shared members at one point or another and had prolific discographies with their main bands and their numerous side projects (Noise Unit, Download and Cyberaktif, to list a few). The west coast seemed to be the central hub of the scene, with bands such as Numb, Unit:187, Decree and the early material of synthpop band Psyche. On the east coast, there was Digital Poodle, Decoded Feedback and DHI (death and horror inc) in Toronto along with Montreal's collaborative group Phycüs. This mix I assembled is merely a small snapshot of the diversity of the scene during that period.
