Here is a song for my wife, Sarah Stashko, on this day, October 29, 2019. Your birthday. 

As many of the songs I write for her on the mellow side, it begins with the idea of vocals behind it. Then, I hear myself attempt to sing in such a way and I decide that its better off as an instrumental. 

One song that I wrote for her, Autumn Fire, was recorded by my band with my good friend and vocalist, Paul Counelis, handling the vocal duties. While that is great, I simply cannot continue to have other people sing music that I have written for her! And I simply will not tarnish the idea of the music by sticking my weirdo voice within it. Simply put, instrumentals are the way to go!

That does not mean that I did not write lyrics for this song. The ones I did write go like this:

David Mark Stashko is an author, musician and explorer of the strange and unknown. He is the husband of artist Scarah Stashko, the father of award winning filmmaker and writer, Daemon Stashko, the creator of Light, Darkness and Dreamscapes events, Stashgnome Publishing, manager of the band Lords of October, a cryptozoology fanatic, social worker, recovery/spirituality advocate, member of the Flint Horror Collective and much more. David loves to create late at night in his home studio where the walls are painted black and the lights are shaded blue, as well as when he is relaxing in bed next to his beautiful wife as they watch horror, science fiction and fantasy movies. David loves to travel, collect comics, board games and toys, play with his rottweiler, Furiosa, and study astronomy.
