Although I was a bit young to get in a club in 1992, I was hooked on mix tapes from places like Venus in Nottingham, Quadrant Park in Liverpool and of course, The Hacienda in Manchester. Tunes include Congress, SAS, Electric Choc, Gat Decor and Sunscreem.

As ever, mixed live on two Technics and an Allen & Heath Xone 22 mixer.

My old school sets are inspired by the cassettes I heard just as I was getting into the dance/ rave scene as a teenager in roughly '90-'92. Those tapes came from places including Grin DJ's (Vertigo/ Welly, Jon Kelly), Shelleys (Sasha, Dave Seaman, Nipper), and some of the bigger raves at the time including Fantazia, Obsession, Universe ect. 

Everything I mix is done on two Technics with Allen & Heath Xone22 mixer via Serato scratch live.

Old Skool House Mix Volume 1

Here is a 1 hour mix of early house classics 1986-1990 that I did for a history of house Move radio FM documentory.

Many trax packed in,mixed live on vinyl on 2 turntables in one take! - no edits, laptops, tricks or cheats.

These were the foundations that the Stoke On Trent  House scene was built on, some were hits, others not, but most still get played to this day on a regular basis.

I was 15 in 1986 when house music arrived in the UK and I was instantly hooked and still am today!
