This is a song that both members, Ivan and Josh, worked on together. With the tune and tempo being mainly Josh's idea, Ivan helped with the software programming and the final bridge chorus. The lyrics are still in development, we hope you enjoy this instrumental.

This is a song from Ivan's solo album "The Planet of Imaginary Friends"
 (still in production). Ivan remixed it so it would better fit this Band's direction, like more synths and a slower tempo, giving the song a more depressing mood than the fast dance track version on his album. This version will also have lyrics, which are still in production. We hope you enjoy.

This is a little something I created. I still need to edit out the blank space, but you know, YOLO. I wanted to make a quick and snappy pop song, then have the entire second half turn into a slow mood piece. That was basically the premise I had in mind when making it.

Lava King

This is an instrumental created completely by Josh, with the idea of light VS darkness. An eerie first half and a sweet sounding second half, hence the oxymoron of a title "The Sun Comes Up at Night". Stand out instruments include an accordion and a nylon guitar. We hope you enjoy this interlude track.

Just Something (instrumental version)

We had an idea of a duo band so we decided to make music mostly digitally. We only recently decided on our name 'Wight' consisting of Ivan Knight and Joshua Watts (wight being a combination of our last names). Ivan's inspirations include Genesis, David Bowie, Rush, Tom Petty and Daft Punk whilst Joshua's inspirations include Ascendant Stranger, Of Mice and Men, Ventura Lights, Iron Maiden and AC/DC. Both Ivan and Joshua create the music digitally, using software like Ableton and Cubase, either working on individual songs or songs together. Ivan's favourite instruments he wanted to bring to the group's sound are the Xylophone and Organ. Joshua brought the Orchestral Jazz fusion sound with his love of funky bass grooves, cello and violins and slow tempo songs that pack a punch, he also loves adding the Accordion whenever he can.
