Hi, Glenn from Eneonycity here (aka GL3N, RelaxWithGl3n, Glenn Frances, FeelGoodMusic, Fymila… yes, even her).

This is the very first album I ever released, back in 2006 under the name UH.

The name came from a rehearsal with the legendary Wah Wah Watson. He told me I needed a nickname. I shrugged and said, “Uh… call me UH?”  
From that day on every phone call and every laugh for the next fifteen years came with an “UH!” or an “UH UH BOOM BOOM!” He’s all over this record in spirit.

HEHHEH was titled purely because I liked how the letters looked when I stacked them.

Over the years a few kind souls wrote about it on forgotten synth forums. My favorite review ever was from Adam A. Donaldson at Lucid Forge: he said this was an album “to keep on the nightstand… for those special evenings with someone you love, by the fireplace.”  
I never saved the link and the site vanished long ago, but that line has lived in my head rent-free since 2006.

I had an absolute blast making it: Logic, Reason, Pro Tools TDM, 5-string bass, tenor sax, Rhodes Mark I Stage 88, anything I could get my hands on.  
Standouts for me: the 2005 take on “One More Try” (later on the GL3N Vocal Mixtape), my Brooklyn-to-Bensonhurst love letter cover of “More Than A Woman,” the vocoder ripples and sky-high note in “Keep It There,” and especially “Tastes So Good,” which still makes me tear up when I sing it. (Somehow that one found 35 million plays in the last couple years… wild.)

So here it is again, untouched, exactly where it all began.  
Thank you for riding with me these past twenty years. I’m still just getting started.
