Isolation

Working on the new recording setup tonight, was joined by my daughter. I generally don't think too much of her tastes, but The Magnetic Fields/Gothic Archies is something we can certainly agree on.

Glisse à l'orée du monde

Et les mailles ondulantes caressent sa lumière
Sous le souffle léger de tes lèvres entrouvertes
Sur ton visage muet au doux regard de brume
Lentement se dessine en tracés délicats
La résille ténue de ce qui jadis fut.

Translation:
It's deep in the shadows
In the thick silence
At the center of your nights
It hatches from your dreams
Consent captive
Caught in tender fillet
Of your immense hope

It floats
In suspension

Luminous amber heart
Surrounded by intense lava
Cocoon of your sighs
Glides to the edge of the world

And the undulating meshes caress its light
Under the light breath of your parted lips
On your mute face with a soft misty gaze
Slowly takes shape in delicate lines
The thin mesh of what once was.

January 13, 2021 Naviar Haiku #367, a poem by Morikawa Kyoroku:

morning light
the first blossoms of spring
bloom over-night

The Haiku was divided into 12 syllables and randomly reordered. This was done 12 times creating 12 lines of random text from the original Haiku. I recorded myself reading the text. 

The track can be chopped into phrases to make it longer or add space for other sounds.
