I stood inside an empty room
A silent bed and a chair.
A table and a darkened lamp
Was all that witnessed me there.
The pillows held the secrets
Of the softly uttered prayers,

This lowly but perfect private place.
Brings to mind the times of happiness
Which time itself cannot erase.
That which went up from this chamber

Will be reserved, in Heavenly quarters
