In his day job, mayhemtom looks after people with cancer. A paradoxical world of defining success in living but also dying well. “Reach out” is a positive song, but addresses these paradoxes. We still cry for people we hate, but we find hope where there is only despair by reaching out. 

This single is a collaboration between Tom John and Marcel Borrack from the band The Minibikes featuring Maria Moles on drums.

Reach Out

Mayhemtom is an oncologist who previously played in various cover and original bands before medicine took over. Rediscovering music and channelling the existential questions that cancer medicine inevitably raises, provided a creative outlet. 
His first single from his debut album is called Falling and scheduled to be released on 8th August 2022. The album "The Art of Flying While Falling" will be released on September 9th 2022.
