2.) Kontakt ­ V.L.X ­ Virtual Loop Expansion ­- This is the specially scripted version for Kontakt for SOUND SQUAD, and it is really something special. It’s an MPC padded style interface that includes time stretching, note repeat, bit crushing, on board fx including reverb, delay, and compression. V.L.X organizes the construction loop sets and sounds into perfect kit groups (over 100 kit groups) so that you can use it to make hits in the studio or in a live performance. V.L.X takes this product to an entirely new level, and it’s currently being used by Trevor Lawrence Jr. himself to make new records for major artists. SOUND SQUAD V.L.X was featured on DW Drum Channel and made a huge splash, and we are sure it will change the way that music creators look at loops, samples, and one shots period.

For this pack I tweaked my buddies Waldorf Blofeld, Novation Nova, Korg Radias, a Dreadbox G-System and other sorts of modular devices, resulting in 25 crazy drum and percussion kits, including all these „whooms, blips, zinnnngs and splashs“. I took especially care for the kick drums, as these often tend to be too soft (for my taste) when created with synths. The kits are highly usable for all kinds of deep electronics, as well as Trance and Techno.
