I definitely had someone in mind when I wrote this, but it works for so many people these days, so a little like Carly Simon's 'You're So Vain' I wil leave it a mystery and the listener can project their own favourite idiot into the song.

This is the first song I ever wrote, and literally means more to me than words can express. I originally wrote it in 2004 and recorded a demo in 2005; it's taken me this long to record a proper version, mainly because I only now feel able to do the song the justice it deserves :-D I thank the universe for gifting me such a beautiful song :-D I hope you like it :-D

When I first heard the riff in that song it really hooked me, so I sampled it and started experimenting - and have finally ended up with this. I've messed about with the original sample something horrible in places - but Mr Sturmey Archers has been extremely nice about the whole thing.
