Colapso is a Paris-based DJ who started in 2018 as a passionate digger and co-founder of the Apéro Notturno collective.

Colapso about the mix:

'Several years ago when I started DJing, I used to play a lot of House Music. I've always enjoyed it, but my musical preferences changed over the years to Italo Disco-related genres.

In 2023, I started to dig a lot of tracks of the Pre-House era which are inspired by Italo Disco – i.e. Proto House – when producers were using the LinnDrum and the DMX from Italo Disco – they would then replace them by the 909.

More recent tracks are blending Italo Disco and House together, and I really enjoy them. A few producers are doing this – such as Emmet Read, Demi Requisimo and Donald's House.

This mix is about bringing the spotlight to this genre and these artists'
