ADAMA is the psytrance project of Itamar, a musician/producer based in Tel-Aviv, Israel.
Itamar is inspired by wide range music styles, beginning from rock genres, trance and techno up to the African tribes and the Australian bush, all of which together help create his unique sound. Combining deep ambience and a massive collection of percussions and synthesized sound effects of the psychedelic world. In his sets, he tells the story of the ancients with deep bass lines and developing melodies, recorded with his wide collection of instruments.

ADAMA | Zenon Records Series Vol.35 | 18/09/2019

This is the first part in a psytrance series I will be posting during the next months, where I will be increasing the darkness in each set delivered. This session was recorded at the Motion party "Shining Darkness" in Undercurrent, Amsterdam. I played a twilighted psytrance set after Back to Mars and before a full-on dj so the bpm goes from 148 to 145 in 2.5 hours.

I didn't record yet a specific set of this substyle that I've been mixing for a few years now, mostly during the day, given the lightness of the synths and the grooviness of the baselines. As I lived previously in Amsterdam, I could figure out that this style, more bouncy and happy, would work better in the dancefloor, and so it did. Awesome to see people having it :D

As always, played with CDs, unprepared, instintly, so tracklist may come in the future. Some of the awesome music in the mix are from well known artists like Fagin's Reject, Chris Rich, Southwild, Yabba Dabba, Dharma, Hypereggs, Dust, Wood Warden, Pantomiman, Asimilon,...

Hope you enjoy the journey, it was a lot of fun to play it.

Here is the set i played at Shankra to honor our great friend and labelmate Bruno, Module Virus who passed away after battling with cancer. It was a magical moment,  the second the set was over it started raining. This set contains some of his best of, collaborations, recent and unreleased work. Big thanks to Mahi from Shankra for suggesting this set in his memory, Bom Shanka music for providing me with music which was released on their label, where Bruno was a member for many years - unfortunately i couldn't load that batch in time. Big thanks to Boom Festival and Ozora - you fullfilled his lifetime dreams by giving his music the stage he dreamed of since he started making music.  Much thanks also for everyone who supported Bruno in his too short but colorful life. It made him happy to play his music to people and see them dance. Fly high gentle soul - you live on through your music. We miss you.
