Indisputably one of Southeast LA's best up and coming artists in 21st century rap. Born Edward M Hurtado Jr in 1991, the Maywood MC, songwriter, and producer is a true musical artist in the creative field when delivering content. Edward Hurtado became interested in creating music as a youngster and later on decided to take the jump to pursue music professionally. Edward released his first single "Now or Never" which was dedicated to the memory of 20 year old U.S. army soldier Vanessa Guillen, the children that passed away while being in custody in the U.S. ICE detention center, and the immigrant street vendors that have been harassed. Having being discovered through social media by Compton's hip hop legend The Game, Edward Hurtado's single "Now or Never" appeared on The Game's 2020 mixtape "Game Time vol 2". In the summer of 2021 Edward released his EP "I Am Edward Hurtado" with The Game and Fat Joe on the project.
